OPTIMIZATION OF THE CONDITIONS FOR MTT ANALYSIS OF CELL VIABILITY FOR STUDYING THE CYTOTOXIC EFFECTS OF PREPARATIONS ON HUMAN AND ANIMAL CELL LINES

Abstract

The MTT assay for cellular metabolic activity is widely used in vitro. This paper presents our own data and critical assessment of the literature data is carried out. The applicability and potential limitations of the MTT assay are discussed.
